How to Help Make Your Visit to the Vets Stress-free

Priory Veterinary Group have made the local news!

Have you seen this article in our local paper about how to avoid stress for your pets when visiting us? Make sure your collars and leads are secure – and bring treats if necessary!

Use a top loading cat carrier so it’s easier to get them in and out – they can even be examined in the bottom part if necessary.

Keep the cat carrier out at home so it’s a familiar safe place, rather than only being associated with trips to the vets.

Get puppies and kittens used to handling and gentle restraint at home.
