Priory Veterinary Group can supply veterinary prescription drugs (POM-V’s) to our clients whose animals are under our care. You can also request a written prescription for these medicines in order to obtain these medicines elsewhere (although this is not appropriate when immediate treatment is necessary). The cost of a written prescription is £15. The practice is happy to inform you of the price of any medication.
Animals requiring repeat prescriptions will need to be reassessed by a vet at least every 6 months. This is a legal requirement and we cannot make any allowances outside of this rule. The charge for a check-up and written prescription is currently £34.
Requests for prescription drugs or food may be made and collected from Christchurch, Highcliffe or Bransgore. A vet will check the prescription and nurses will prepare your order, we will contact you if there are any problems. You can do this by completing the online form below or by phoning and leaving a message. Please allow 24hrs notice (excluding weekends) for prescription requests to collect from Christchurch, allow 48hrs to collect from Bransgore or Highcliffe.
If you require a prescription urgently please call our Christchurch Hospital on 01202 484466.
