Our Puppy Life-Skills clinics are run by a dedicated team of veterinary nurses who share a special interest in puppy behaviour, development, and wellbeing. They have all received further training in this area and together they bring a wealth of practical knowledge, clinical insight, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting new puppy owners.

A Note on Puppy Parties 🐾
We’re often asked whether we run puppy parties. While group sessions can sound appealing, they sometimes carry the risk of negative experiences — for example, shy puppies feeling overwhelmed, or excitable ones picking up unhelpful habits. Because those early weeks are so important, we’ve chosen to focus on one-to-one clinics instead.
This approach means every puppy gets tailored attention, and you as an owner can ask all your questions in a calm, supportive environment. Our nurses can adapt advice to your pup’s personality and stage of development, helping you build confidence together from the very start.
Puppy Clinics and Puppy Course
We offer individual puppy clinics for specific concerns, or you can join our full, 4week complete puppy life-skills course, where our nurses will discuss:
- Early teething issues — did you know that “zoomies” and excessive mouthing often signal overstimulation? We’ll discuss how you can introduce simple routines to prevent those often-mislabelled signals becoming moments of conflict.
- Preventative healthcare — tailored advice on your puppy’s individual disease risks and how we can reduce them.
- Safe early enrichment — creative ways to help your pup burn energy and build new skills during the early weeks, before their vaccinations provide full protection for outdoor adventures.
- Preparing for the big wide world — gentle early socialisation and positive handling so vet visits and new places become a confidence-building experience.
