Registered Vet Nurse

Priory Vet Group are looking for an RVN to come and join us at our small animal hospital on the beautiful south coast in Christchurch with a young, fun team who are used to supporting each other. With the sea on one side, the New Forest on the other and Bournemouth just a 15minute drive away there’s plenty of space to have a life outside of work and our rota gives you the time to carry on the activities you love. We are currently an 11 vet, 16 nurse (9 RVNS) practice and are looking to expand and welcome a new member into our fantastic nursing team.

Our nurses enjoy a varied role including dedicated operating, wards, and inpatient shifts. We offer a large range of nurse clinics which are popular with our nurses and clients alike.

We are an independent hospital who are proud to provide our own out-of-hours service meaning your patients can receive the care and attention they require on-site. Work-life balance is important to us therefore our we offer our full-time nurses a 36.8hour week but we are open to a flexible working arrangement which will include a share of the out-of-hours rota. We offer a competitive salary, commensurate on experience with opportunities to progress in areas of interest.

We are looking for someone who loves being a veterinary nurse and is passionate to promote good welfare as part of a caring and supportive team. Our independent status means you will never be just a number but a valued individual member of our team. We pride ourselves on protecting the welfare of our staff – regular fruit baskets, welfare days with a visiting masseuse, fish & chips at the local beach and a social archery session are just a few examples of our efforts to make our team feel appreciated.

If you have any questions or would like to apply please send your CV/ contact our head nurse, Roxy, at [email protected]
